The DCR-PC350 has been a great experience for me, trying my hand at filmmaking. The camcorder has many features and styles, like sepia, pastel, and black and white. 16-bit audio recording means that the audio is sharp and clear. It is highly customizable; the intelligent accessory shoe allows extra flash, lighting, or a higher quality "boom" microphone. The camcorder also takes high-resolution 3 megapixel photos, which can be easily expanded to a larger size. The Handycam Station allows you to dock the DCR-PC350 camcorder to charge, or stream it to your computer via the included USB cable. The video, however, is best viewed in a small windows because it's video quality varies greatly depending on the light source, contrast, and what mood it's in. :)
Overall, the DCR-PC350 camcorder is a very good consumer-grade camcorder, but if you are looking for professional quality, such as for projected video, aim for a higher prosumer grade camcorder.
