I would recommend this camera to anybody, because it's very easy to use, and you'll have good quality pictures and movies.
I wanted to buy a digital camera and looked through many different brands and models. I even bought one, different brand, but the quality of the pictures was so bad, that I had to return it right away. Sony is my favorite brand of all electronics, so I decided to look more into Sony digital cameras. I read the descriptions, and I found one that I thought was great for me. So I bought it and started using it the same day. I couldn't believe how great the pictures were, pictures looked like they were taken in a professional studio. And it's so easy to use the camera! Besides taking pictures, I love making movies, and this camera makes great movies with sound! The same day I was already sending movies and pictures of my kids to my friends. They all loved everything, and they keep asking me to send more.
I like taking pictures with good quality, so I use all 3.1 MB for a picture. If you are going to take a lot of pictures with good quality, then you should get an additional memory stick. But if you need pictures just for e-mails, 1 memory stick may be enough (16MB - included with the camera). Or you can transfer all pictures to the computer and you're ready to take more pictures. But if computer is not available right away, then having more memory would be very helpful.
I even took pictures at night in a dark room, and I was amazed how clear the pictures were. Also you can make GIF. It's fun to experiment with the camera and see for yourself all the possibilities.
Another good thing is that the batteries and battery charger are included with the camera. Batteries last pretty long: I have this camera for two weeks, use it every day, and still didn't have to recharge the batteries.
So everything about this camera is great! I love it, and I'm sure, you'll love it too!
