Sonic has been with us for a long time now. Originally debuting on the Sega Geninus all those years ago with a mother-load of squeals. Well, sonic finally goes 3-d in his adventure, in his Sonic adventure.

Graphics & Sound- You know what? The graphics of this game are still great to this day and this was one of dreamcast's original launch games. Sonic blasts though stage at 100 mph with no slowdown. But when it comes to mouth moving [character months going with speech] this area is terrible, it is as bad a poorly dubbed jackie chan movie. Anyways lets talk about the sound department. Another A++ goes here. Taking old sound effects from the first sonic and getting all new sound effects and songs. Sonic sounds great voices for the characters and the songs are fabulous. I really like the songs that goes with each character, those are good as well.

Control- Simple control scheme. You mainly use the A button to jump and the analog to run around. But with many different characters besides sonic and new moves the control always seems to change. each characters control scheme is unique to them and all of them are great.

Game play- Like the old sonic you run around like a maniac to get to the end of the stage. but now there is a adventure element and many different characters to play as. With sonic you mainly have to run to the end to the level no questions asked. With Tails you have to beat someone, usually sonic, to the end of the stage. Amy you have to find "birdies". E-102 you have to hunt down other robots. And Big you have to fish for a frog or a certain fish. All of these go together to make a fun experience, but with all this the game is still very easy and if you really sit down and play this game you might end up beating this game in a day or two. But those will be the greatest two days of your gaming life. So hardcore gamers should probably rent this game but newbies might beat this game in a week or two, like me [but i am still a hardcore player lol].

Overall- This game is still good to this day even if it is a year old. Highly recommended.
