Pros: everything

Cons: none...

Author's Review
Sonic Adventure is a flat-out great game. And why not? It was Sega's last hope in establishing a large userbase for their greatest system yet, Dreamcast!

Sonic is still one of the prettiest-looking GD-ROMs on the Dreamcast, but graphics aside, the game has one small problem. Speed is the major issue. True, this game shows what the Dreamcast can pull off, in terms of speed, but too much is too much.

This game is so speedy, you may lose control of your character just because you're so overwhelmed. Even walking slowly can be disorienting in tight areas. That was one of the larger problems that I had with the game. The game is nice in the replay value department, giving the players the ability to use 5 different characters to overcome the evil Dr. Robotnik.

Plus, you can take care of Chaos A-Life on your VMU and trade those little buggers with all your friends via email. There's no multiplayer, but then again, I can't imagine how it would be implimented in this game, given its speedy nature, especially on tiny screens. It's a better-than-decent game.

This was Sega's first DC game. I can only wait for the sequel! Below is how I ranked the game up!

GRAPHICS-9.5 graphics are good but characters such as sonic and dr eggman look odd at times

GAMEPLAY-9.5 little more of a challenge and more enemies would’ve been nice

CONTROL-8.5 great at times but at others not too great

SOUND-10

MUSIC-10 where is the old sonic music that was great too

CAMERA-9.5 when going up and around turns the camera zooms far away and it is almost impossible to see yourself

REPLAY-8.5 its a fun little game and its pretty easy which will most likely make you want to play it again, no real extras though

FUN FACTOR-9.5 if you’re into easy platform games this is for you but towards the end of the game it gets kinda hard and if you liked the beginning of the game you most likely won’t like the end, cinematics are also cool to watch, storyline is fun to follow, graphics are fun to look at, all the characters are incredible such as tails and knuckles who can fly and sonic with his fast dash.

STORY-10

CONCEPT-9.5 the concept is good but more bad guys would have been great and more original sonic stuff like metal sonic and sonics original music would’ve all been enjoyed

OVERALL-9.5 if you’re like me and you like nifty little games get this. its fun pretty easy and enjoyable.
