Pros: It was cheap, lots of features
Cons: It cost more than it's worth
The Bottom Line:
My experience taught me not to buy Sharp products - they've left me out in the cold.
I wish someone had written a review before I bought this!
It broke 3.5 months after I bought it. Two weeks over the 90 labor warranty expired. My bad - cost me $175 to fix. I sent it to the repair center - twice! It has a problem with rewind - it won't. Now I've had it for a year, and I've rewound one tape successfully, and have two that were chewed up. It cost me $600 new, plus $175 for repairs, and I still have an unreliable camcorder.
If you're up for a serious challenge, try to reach a customer service rep - I don't think Sharp has one! If Sharp is listening, drop me a line at gvr@cox.net
