Really bad quality in LP.

Pros: Great buy for the budget conscious.
Cons: Bad quality using LP mode.
The Bottom Line:
This is great for starters. Still has a decent picture with nice features. Be sure to test the picture quality using LP mode with poor lighting.
I like this camera and it has done alot for me. It is rather a good deal for the price and has many more or comparable features than other camcorders of the same price.
The only thing I would gripe about at the moment is the quality of the picture when it is recording with LP mode in low light situations. I would highly advise against using LP mode in low light. I have found all that it does is create an extremely noisy picture. This fact ruined half the tape's picture for both of my sisters wedding receptions. I wish I had known not to record in LP mode when the lighting is poor. Other than that its great.
