Pros: Price, Controls, Simplicity

My wife and I looked at a lot of camcorders before we made our selection. The features we were looking for were price, small size, light weight, large color LCD screen and ease of controls. I didn't want to have to look through a view-finder and take the chance of running into a wall or falling off a cliff. We aren't techies and as this would be our first camcorder purchase we weren't too interested in a lot of confusing bells and whistles.
When we ran upon this Sony, we knew right away this was what we had been looking for. This camera is so easy to use... all the controls are operated with just slight movements of the thumb. The LCD screen is big and easy to see. We were surprised that for the price, it had a lot of features and a few bells and whistles we eventually came to enjoy.
We take this thing everywhere and are very happy with it.
