Pros: Easy viewing
Cons: The screen shows fingerprints
My wife wanted a camcorder for years, but I kept seeing smaller & smaller ones coming out. Finally after she became pregnant with our second child I decided it was time, so I researched and made many trips to Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Curcuit City, anywhere they sold them.
I am so glad I got this one. With small kids you know they always want to see what your doing. during Christmas my son sits on the wifes lap and he can see what she does and it keeps him entertained.
It is only a 16X zoom, but for our use, that is fine.
Our only complaint is the screen shows fingerprints, but with the purchase of a camera lens cloth a quick wipe takes care of that.
After two years the battery is finally starting to go. After 15-25 minutes of taping the battery is dead. New ones are about $60 @ Wal-Mart.
I like the ability to be able to view what I am taping over my head in a crowd, also the way the screen flips so you can see yourself for taping.
