A gaggle of single Manhattan women experience the ups and downs of dating in this comedic HBO series that has earned wild popularity for its honesty regarding women's attitudes toward sex and relationships, as well as for its racy content. Sarah Jessica Parker stars as Carrie Bradshaw, the writer of a relationship column, who still has none of the answers. Though the men in her life come and go, Carrie is always surrounded by her friends: sex-hungry publicist Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), independent lawyer Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Park Avenue princess Charlotte York (Kristin Davis). The four women couldn't be more different in their careers and romantic lives, but they come together over laughter and tears, especially where men are concerned. This collection gathers all six seasons of the show loved by women (and secretly watched by men). Minimize

Author's Review
These four women tackle the world, from their New York apartments. This package gives you six full seasons of strong, sexy, no-holds-bar, "i'll have a cosmopolitan", entertainment. The show follows Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte through all things life in New York, but especially sex and relationships. No subject goes unspoken, nothing is too far left or politically incorrect. Anal sex, single motherhood, threesomes, monogomy, polygomny, lost love, steamy affairs, broken engagements, missing testicals, and the list is endless. Throughh the six seasons of the show, the women grow and change, but they never stop loving their labels or one another. New York love is tough, but these girls are tougher.

Carrie has an on-again, off-again boyfriend, Mr. Big, through every season. They put eachother through relationship hell, but they always seem to come back to one another. They couldn't keep their clothes on from their first date. Miranda, the work-aholic lawyer, falls (in her own commitment-phocic, over analytical way) for Steve the bartender. They even have a baby together. She loves the guy so much that after being single parents to their baby for quite some time, when they get back together and get married, Miranda even moves to Brooklyn. Not that she ever sheds her Manhatten strong side. Charlotte is somewhat wedding hungry. She marries prince charming, the surgeon. She gets her beautiful home, loving husband, and is ready for a baby. The only problem is that Mr. Charming isn't as thrilled about babies as she is. That's the end of the road for Charlotte and Trey. However, all things end happy for Charlotte. Just as she's in the midst of her divorce, she falls for her cute, very bald, divorce lawyer. Things are great, at least as soon as she's a Jew. With Religion in sync, and Harry's nudist tendancies out of the way, it looks like Charlotte finds her Mr. Wonderful. With the craziest last, Samantha is a powerhouse. She works hard, and loves herself. Her relationship with herself always surpasses that of any current beau, and she has quite the handful of them. Samantha is what many would call a sexual deviant, but she's just very...very, comfortable with herself. Eventually she works with Smith, an up and coming actor. He loves her, she loves him, they have great sex-Miranda couldn't be happier.

Not everything is tulips and daisies for the foxy females. Cancer, financial hell, baby drama, and men seem to deter their plans, but they keep fighting it, always together.

This collection is well worth the money, and more than one viewing!
