Kindhearted lawyer Glenda's (Goldie Hawn) desire to lend a helping hand is evident in the number of stray dogs she has taken in. Her husband Ira (Charles Grodin) is a stuffy district attorney with designs on political office. When her ex-husband Nick (Chevy Chase), a writer who has been forced to rob a bank, shows up on her doorstep seeking refuge from the authorities, she takes him in--spurring a serious of painfully comedic situations as she attempts to keep him hidden from uptight Ira. Razor sharp timing from a trio of comedic heavyweights propels this descendent of 1930s screwball romantic comedies from Neil Simon.

If it was written by Neil Simon, you know it must be funny. "Seem Like Old Times" lives up to Simon's past...it's truly funny!
Adding to the mix Chevy Chase, Goldie Hawn, and Charles Grodin and you have a real winner. This is a hilarious movie!
Chevy Chase plays a writer who is kidnapped and forced to help them rob a bank. Goldie Hawn is a public defender and Chase's ex-wife. Grodin is married to Goldie and he is the Prosecutor. When Chase shows up at Hawn and Grodin's home after participating in the bank robbery, well the fun begins.
This movie is loaded with knee slapping comedy gags and situations. Chase is wonderful in this film and performs up to his usual perfection of the bumbling idiot. Grodin's dry sense of humor plays wonderfully in this film. Goldie Hawn is fabulous and carries the whole movie. Be prepared for some pretty funny characters and incerdibly funny scenes!
If you don't like to laugh avoid this movie, because it is a laugh a minute. I have seen this movie several times and still laugh each time I see it. It is truly one of my favorites of all time!
