The Samsung PL60 is a 10 megapixel digital camera with a 5x optical zoom lens. This is a small, compact digital camera. Samsung has included a Smart Auto mode with the PL60. When you select this mode the camera will access the scene you are photographing and compare it to information it holds on the most popular photographic scenes. If it makes a match it is able to optimise the settings to use for the shot.

Pros: Less than $120 on sale. Good pictures, relatively easy menu.
Cons: Slow shutter response time.
I combed through camera ratings and reviews for hours, and I came to the conclusion that all point and shoot cameras have the same issues...sometimes grainy pictures, slow response time, and problematic focusing. So, why pay hundreds of dollars for a camera that is essentially the same as one for under $120.00? Buy this at Amazon, not Walmart, I paid much less. It does NOT come with a memory card, so go ahead and buy one or two at the same time. I've been using mine for a few days, and the pictures are fine. I haven't really put it through it's paces, but really, for the price how can you go wrong?
