Pros: Price, picture quality, appearance.
Cons: Cable card reception capability.
Bought this because Panasonic was back ordered. Looks great, so far works great, although I started with a Cable Card and could not get some HDTV or premium (HBO) channels and had to switch back to a cable box. I think this is a Cable company scam to force you to use (and pay rent for) the cable box.
Contrary to predictions, I must say that I did not see any appreciable difference in picture quality between the card and the box. The sports HDTV picture quality is phenomenal; crystal clear. The colors on the Samsumg are fabulous. Sound is pretty good, although it is a stretch to say it is "true surround". I am going to go the normal receiver/6 speaker/sub -woofer route for true home theatre surround.
Reasonable price ($2788) good service from ShopDigital.com (Charlie)
