Pros: Good picture, allows all audio signals to pass through, Profile 1.1 - promise of upgrades Cons: Nothing really, unless Samsung decides to not upgrade this player with profile 2.0 Bottom Line: Evolution at Work
Pros: Plentiful firmware updates, decent startup time Cons: Remote Bottom Line: Worth The Money
Pros: Great Picture/Plays normal DVD's. Cons: Hard to run without remote. Bottom Line: Samsung's BD-P1500 Blu-ray player allows me to upgrade and keep my DVDs, too!
Pros: Plays Hi-Def Blu-rays, DVDs and CDs; easy to set up and use Cons: Blu-ray discs are pricier; players are more expensive than DVD players Bottom Line: Though maybe I could have waited another year to go Blu-ray, I think the BD-P1500 is a good player for videophiles with lots of DVDs.
