Like many of you I researched different models and compared prices of various camcorders. This model fit into our budget. My husband and I were expecting our first baby and wanted to capture every moment so we went out and purchased this model. However, not thinking about the warranty (because we have an old panasonic VHS that still works) we bought it early because it was on sale. It sat in the closet for 8 months. Finally our baby shower came up and I read the manual several time so that I knew exactly how to work the camera. We recorded about 15 minutes of the shower, 5 minutes at the hospital (c-section, not feeling well), 5 minutes when we brought our pride and joy home, and 5 minutes at 8 weeks. I took it out the other day to find out it doesn't work. I called customer service and they want me to send it back ($150 + shipping). I am still sending emails and letters with no response hoping that they will back their product. However, I have little to no hope.
