Pros: All the inputs and outputs you could ever anticipate needing.
Cons: Didn't like the way the component video input worked.
After looking at all the options, I chose a Samsung SIRT165 as my terrestrial HDTV receiver. Not being familiar with Samsung electronics, I was a little hesitant, but all that vanished after the receiver arrived and I started reading the setup manual. It was clear, concise, and very easy to follow. The translucent on screen menus were very user friendly and the channel strength indicator was especially helpful in getting the antenna positioned correctly. It has all the inputs and outputs necessary to keep it a useful piece of equipment for years to come. It has lots of built in setup options and all the options are in a very logical arrangement. Only bad point: Make sure that your HDTV has two sets of component video inputs, one for your DVD and one for your DTV Receiver. The Samsung has a component video input to plug in a DVD, but it took away too many options from the HDTV (ie: Full Screen, Zoom, etc.) Fortunately my Sony 52" had two seperate component video inputs.
