Pros: Decent picture when it is working, nice looking on the wall

Bought this plasma in august of this year. Only have ten hours of play time and the power supply went on it. Technician told me it is a KNOWN problem from SAMSUNG but two weeks later the part is still back ordered. Bought it from Best Buy and their customer service department refuses to fix it saying that it is NOT a manufacturers defect. They said it could have been from moisture, or heat. They never even seen it an still refuse to do anything about it.Also went as far as to say it blew because of a power surge. They were speechless when I showed them the receipt which included a monster power surge protector for over 250 dollars that they recommended I use for the TV. Samsung is standing behind Best Buy as well. Now own a $8000 picture frame!!! Extended service plan that I paid over 900 dollars for at Best Buy wont cover it either. Planning to take this matter to court since neither company will do anything about it. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money for a Sony or Pioneer. At least they will stand behind their product. What ever you do DONT buy it from Best Buy, their customer service is definately as bad as everyone says it is. Hope others can avoid the nightmare I went through. All in all not happy at all. Guess there is a reason the Samsung 50 inch is a cheaper price. You get what you pay for.
