Pros: Low Price, Carrying case is included, records 45 second video clips.
Cons: The screen can be hard to see in the daylight.
The Bottom Line:
If you are a beginner looking for an inexpensive digital camera that takes decent pics, I recommend it.
I bought this camera at Wal-Mart because I needed an inexpensive digital camera. I wanted to post pictures on ebay.com to sell some items. The clerk showed me 3 cameras that would suit this need. I think the Samsung 101 is a good camera for a beginner to start with. I like it's looks and it has nice features. Like a partial zoom, internal memory that will hold 24 pictures, video clip capabilities, and a carrying case. I am becoming more familiar with it as this is my first digital camera.
It takes good pictures in my opinion. It also comes with a good photo editing software. It also has a slot that will hold more memory.
The only drawbacks are the screen is hard to see in the daylight and the batteries tend to wear down fast. The drawstring will not fit around my neck either.
All in all, I am pleased with this camera. I am having a lot of fun with it.
