Very good machine, value for money

Pros: Strong construction, fast, reliable, easy-to-use
Cons: cupholder does get warm, but takes a long time to warm cups
The Bottom Line:
High quality machine, no drawbacks worth mentioning, reliable, good value for money.
I have extensive experience with two espresso machines: the FrancisFrancis-X1 and this Gaggia. I have not yet discovered a drawback on the Gaggia machine. A drawback that all machines have, is that their coffee cup holder is incapable of really heating the coffee cups, unless you keep the machine switched on during the entire day.
Pro's:
- fast
- reliable
- well-built
- easy-to-use
- water reservoir easily fillable
- sufficient steam capacity
Contra:
- cupholder does get warm but still needs a lot of time to warm cups (I use hot water to heat the cups, otherwise it takes too long)
Its design is no-nonsense 'industrial type of look'.
Great value for money!
