READY 2 RUMBLE: Round 2 is the perfect sequel. The designers kept the intuitive gameplay, outstanding design and animation, and cast of characters from the first READY 2 RUMBLE, and they've delivered updated moves and boxers that result in a lot more fun. Just like before, players have low and high punches, lefts and rights, and they can attack with combinations and flurries. Building up a character from scratch consists of taking part in seven real-life boxing exercises: jumping rope, the heavy bag, the speed bag, the sway bag, rumble pads, lifting weights, and aerobics. These exercises are actually mini-games, which you can't slough off; you've got to do them well to get the benefit of the exercise. In the ring you can land a series of solid punches and build up your RUMBLE power. Once all the letters of RUMBLE are lit, you can punch your opponent out of the ring and practically into the parking lot.

I want to beat the hell out of Bill Clinton

Pros: beat people up, dont get arrested for it
Cons: kinda the same thing over and over
The Bottom Line:
fun for the whole dysfunctional family
The breasts of the women boxers in Ready 2 Rumble Boxing Round 2, are amazingly bouncy. Being one who unabashedly claims to be a breast man, I must always, without fail, choose the women in any fighting game. Women, the weaker sex? Sometimes, but they sure are nicer to look at than some guy with no shirt on.
In Ready 2 Rumble Boxing Round 2, we have two fine specimens to oogle over in a perverted video game fantasy world. Lulu Valentine and Selene Strike. Both may grow up to have back problems, but for now, they shall just remain, perky.
What is strange about these two women is their weight. Selene Strike, dressed tastefully in a tight little t shirt with plenty of midriff showing, weighs in at 130 pounds and is 6 feet 2. I swear, 30 of those pounds have to be in that T shirt. Lulu is all of 108 pounds and 5 feet 2. I dare say a third of her total bodyweight is being held in by her bra top. Both of these women must be around a DDD. I would find this combination highly unlikely in the heavy training of the boxing world. Breasts just plain would have been worked off under the training, at least it stands to reason, perhaps they're fake. I don't know, but I've been told that fake breasts bounce differently. Perhaps this is true, so it bears mentioning that both these fighters jump around some and when doing so, bounce rather well.
But enough on the boobs for now.
This is a boxing game. And you're probably still wondering, what do boobs have to do with the disgraceful former president of this country?
Generally the correct answer would include a stain and a blue dress, but that isn't it.
Bill Clinton is a boxer in this video game. No, you can't just get the game and begin right away by fulfilling my fantasy of giving his smug face a beat down. You have to play a bunch of times in order to "unlock" Bill Clinton. Perhaps he is locked in the game because that is where he really deserves to be, locked up somewhere, the criminal, but once you do unlock him, you too can GET READY TO RUUUUUUUMBLE! Shaq and Michael Jackson are in here too.
So, what makes Ready 2 Rumble Boxing Round 2 worth playing?
Its a boxing game, it is challenging, it's entertaining, and can be lots of fun if you have rowdy friends around to fight too.
You can do the typical one on one fights, set up a tournament, or enter the championship mode where you need to train a boxer.
Training a boxer can be kind of cool. At first. It gets incredibly tiresome and amazingly repetitious after a while. You have to play little games in order to make your boxer better. Some exercises improve certain characteristics while they also take away strength in others. Each game has 10 levels of difficulty, with the hardest levels benefiting the boxer more, but in some cases being incredibly difficult games to master.
Fighting.
Punch each other, dodge, block, taunt, there isn't much more to it than that.
There just isn't enough fighting in between the training. You get 2 fights a month, one you can choose to skip, it's a prize fight for money only, the other is a ranking fight so you can get a better ranking. Lose three ranking fights and you're done.
Graphics are pretty good. They just seem to be getting better every year.
Overall Ready 2 Rumble Boxing Round 2 is fun, it lacks round card girls, but it'll do.
