Sturdy Little Unit

Pros: Well built, cuts through staples, maintenance free, has "forward" & "reverse" features, easy to use
Cons: The heavy shredding unit must be lifted off the bin to empty it
This shredder is sturdier than my much more expensive, higher capacity Fellowes model. It's not fast, but it has a decent sheet capacity, plows through staples, uses cross-cuts for greater security, & is easy to empty (although the top has to be lifted off, which contains the fairly heavy motor). It also has a "forward" selection (as well as the usual "reverse" function), unlike my Fellowes unit. Good value for the money.
