In the drop done "Great Music to Play While" I wish I could have more options. This is a great album to play almost anytime, anywhere.

If you buy just one Def Leppard disc...
| Author's Rating: |
|
Pros: Musically strong; plenty of hooks; a lot of fun
Cons: This disc spawned a whole lot of imitators who were, by and large, terrible
Bottom Line:
It's just a great hard rock album and the best thing Def Leppard recorded. Buy it.

Sometimes there's nothing left to say but "gunter glieben glauchen globen"
| Author's Rating: |
|
Pros: Simply one of the most crushing rock releases ever. It still works.
Cons: Most of the fools in metaldom spent the following decade trying to copy it.
Bottom Line:
Stars cannot express its greatness. I give these ditties two thumbs up and more, if you care to look a little lower. Essential rock.

Def Leppard: Pyromania
| Author's Rating: |
|
Pros: Great sound. Several tracks are now greatest hits. Another great British rock group. Rick Allen still has his left arm!
Cons: Only 10 tracks long. And what's with that weird sound effects at the end of Track 10!?!? Read More at Epinions.com
Def Leppard's 'Classic' album--Pyromania
| Author's Rating: |
|
Pros: Flawless production, great vocals, strong songs from front to back.
Cons: Producer Mutt Lange used artifical drums, instead of Rick Allen.
Bottom Line:
Pyromania is Leppard's most consistently enjoyable work and is still 'respected' as a real 'rock' album, unlike later works. It's easily their best.
