This excellent screen adaptation of Jane Austen's 1813 novel follows a provincial family's struggles to marry off five daughters in 19th-century England. Greer Garson (MRS. MINIVER) stars as heroine Elizabeth Bennett, while Laurence Olivier (REBECCA) plays Mr. Darcy, the new arrival who attracts both Elizabeth's interest and her ire.
