Pros: Pros: Extremely well directed, cast, and acted. Tightly edited, and nicely costumed and set.
Cons: More than 60 years old, with technical deficits in sound, photography, and special effects.
Bottom Line:
Austen's tale is nicely realized in this classic 1940 version with Greer Garson and Laurence Olivier. Witty, exuberant, and delightful - the women triumph in a male-dominated culture.
