great after a C-section

Pros: no tricks to learn, easy after C-section, convenient, none threatening
Cons: too padded for some people.
The Bottom Line:
I loved this sling and would recommend it particularly for people trying slings for the first time as there is no real learning curve to using it.
I loved this carrier and am currently chasing up family members to get it back before my next one is born.
I loved it partly for the same reason someone else hated it, in that the weight was taken by my shoulders. I had a C-section so for the first few months the last thing I wanted was anything round my hips and stomach. My little one settled very well in it and many people didn't even realise I was carrying him and it was certainly a lot easier than carrying him in my arms.
When he was a bit older he could sit up enough to watch things then settle down when he wanted to sleep. We didn't really use it much once he was more mobile however we swapped to a wrap style sling for everyday use.
It was also very easy to convince other people to use as there were no tricks to learn and no worries about the baby falling out while you trying to get it on as it is basically a bag and everyone uses bags. I think that is a great plus point particularly when dealing with partners or family who are not convinced about the idea of slings.
The only real downside is my sister found it too padded and felt her baby over heated to easily, we both had our babies in the middle of the summer and I did not feel that was the case at all but I thought I should mention it to give an honest assessment of the sling.
