Pontiac Vibe simple but impressive

Pros: Great gas mileage on the basic model anyway, comfortable, spacious
Cons: The seat belt alarm is annoying
The Bottom Line:
Buy this car if you have two kids or even three. It feels high like an SUV but safe.
My wife and I were searching for a new car that would offer space for when we have kids, but still get great gas mileage for those long trips to see the in-laws. I also have lower back pain and many times after a 2.5 hour or 6 hour drive my back just aches, so comfort was an issue. Everything we read about the Vibe was true. It has plenty of space for our stuff. Also, after reading a review that said you got out from long trips and didn't even feel like you had been driving very long I was skeptical. But it's true! I love the Vibe because I can drive 6 hours and have no back pain. Why? I don't know. The seats are very comfortable there is plenty of leg room. We have been getting over 30 mpg on the highway with our Vibe too. The only thing we don't like about the car is that you absolutely must fasten the seat belt EVERY time you drive because the incessant beeping from the seat belt alarm will drive you nuts. I don't like this because sometimes I just want to move the car twenty feet and I have to strap in. Other than that the car is great and I would recommend it to anyone.
