Pros: Folding seats, gas mileage, easy handling
Cons: Exterior paint, no armrest
The Bottom Line:
I would recommend this car because of the price, gas mileage and all the folding seats make it easy to haul things.
I bought this car brand new in '05 and have been driving it daily. I'm up to 64000 miles. I drove a mini-van for 8 years and downsized to the Vibe. I am very happy with the performance and handling of the car. It is easy to drive and park. There are not any blind spots. So far I have not had any problems with the motor, trans, or other major parts. One thing that is not wearing well is the exterior paint. The car seems to chip more than any other vehicle I have had. The paint is even starting to 'wear off' near the handle that is used to open the back hatch. The interior is holding up well and the folding seats are a huge plus. It did take awhile to get used to not having an armrest. The drivers seat can be adjusted higher which is nice if you prefer to sit up higher. The back seat is roomy but may be rather low for carseat users. The option of being able to open just the back glass hatch instead of the whole hatch comes in handy. The gas mileage is about 31mpg. Overall, I am happy with the car and would recommend it. The price and value is good.
