Pros: V6 Performance,Refined Styling, Handling, Sleek Lines, Seating comfort for 4,GM Quality
Cons: Fuel Economy, oil life monitor system, interior room, driver fatigue, exterior color choices
The body of the 2004 SE1 Sedan is continued from 2003, with the clad body siding deleated. This adds a refined appearance, yet aggressive. The Grand Am continues to be a strong performer in a smaller mid-sized pkg. The 3.4L V6 is the engine of choice. The body is designed for the sport minded consumer with an aero theme that speaks of the Pontiac Sport reputation. These vehicles are GM's sport division, although the SS pkg's on the Chevy line-up are to compete with the Pontiacs. Overall, the body of the Grand Am be it the Sedan or Coupe are well thought out and continue a 20 year design that has defended itself from the import competition. The rear spoiler is a must have to continue the sport pkg design.
