Pros: Seating, stereo system, powerful AC, roomier than it looks, smooth ride, great gas mileage.
Cons: Not the most attractive SUV out there but great value for the money
I had no intention whatsoever of buying an SUV so I found myself still stunned as I drove my new Aztek home. The more I drive it, the more I love it. It may be the licorice of automobiles with its distinct but ungainly design but practicality and price outweighed stylish concerns. The stereo system is very nice indeed and the radio displays artist's names on FM channels which is pretty cool. Lots of cup holders and grab handles galore and the 12 volt plugs are handy for MP3 players or charging your cell phone. Plenty of cargo space for most anyone's needs and the convenience of the back seats folding up and away makes for even more. The designers may not have put their best aesthetic effort into it but that's the only con as far as I'm concerned. Better looking SUVs would have a hard time competing with its gas mileage and its hard to imagine more creature comforts than those in the Aztek. I'm still getting used to it and look forward to driving it with the dawn of each new day. All in all, I'm extremely happy with it!
