For 1999, the Pontiac Trans Sport has been renamed the Montana. Upgrades on the Montana include a modified engine from the previous years model increasing the power output to 185 hp. Outside heated mirrors, rear window defogger, self-sealing tires and a PassKey III vehicle theft deterrent system are now standard features on this years models. Dual sliding rear doors are now standard on both four-door models and an optional power sliding door with remote open and close is available on all models. A new overhead video entertainment system called MontanaVision will be available in November of 1998. New for 1999, two-tone paint with graphite lower accents is optional and rear split bench seating is now standard. Minimize
