The Grand Prix is equipped with dual airbags and the Special Edition Coupe Package is now standard on SE Coupes. Safety features include driver and passenger side impact door beams, automatic power door locks, and brake/transmission shift interlock. Four wheel anti-lock brakes are also available. Additional standard features include power windows, CFC-free air conditioning and four wheel disc brakes. Refinements for 1996 include a new electronically controlled torque converter and a horsepower increase for the optional 3.4 liter engine. Options include head-up display, power glass sunroof, power six-way driver seat, and remote keyless entry.

Cons: intake manifold gaskets, doors are big and heavy, door handles

Great car. Reliable. Good designs. Excellent Value. This is a great vehicle to buy and drive to higher mileages. Just like any machine, maintain it.
