Worth the Money

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Performance, Quality, Portability

Cons: Very Pricey!! 3x other stroller systems. Stroller approx $289, plus the infant seat for $179.

The Bottom Line:
Traveling with a little one is hard enough, make the rest as easy as you can. This is versatile stroller that travels well!

Author's Review
When my wife and I were expecting we registered for lots of baby equipment and chose a Graco stroller. After 18 months our well used Graco started to wear a bit, and had some tears in the basket below the stroller. There was another problem, it was too big and too heavy to easily bring with us, especially on those short trips to the mall. We wound up buying a few of those $19.99 umbrella strollers, which our son was easily able to lean out of and put himself in harms way. The solution, the Peg Perego Pliko P3 MT Classico stroller. We bought this model on clearance for about half of the retail price, so it made the decision easier. I'm not trying to berate the Graco here, I want to be clear, that for the price we paid we actually like it, but the Peg Perego is just in a different league all together.

What is so good?

First of all it "drives" like a dream. It rolls like it's on air, and turns on a dime, you can even push it with one finger. Secondly it's very comfortable, based on the fact that my son can spend hours in this stroller without ever complaining. The seat is well padded, but still easy to clean, and is made with a more flexible plastic to prevent cracking. The seat can also recline, not quite flat but close. There is also an ample sized storage bin under the seat. The only complaint is that the cup holder that comes with it is small and doesn't always stay attached. I consider this a non-issues as I can now hold a beverage an push the stroller with one hand without effecting it's performance.

The best of both worlds:

For all the reasons above this is a great performing stroller, now for the icing on the cake. First it is a full-size stroller that accepts an infant seat from a Peg Perego travel system. But it is also a "umbrella" stroller as it folds easily into a very small form factor, about 12"x12"x40" and, when the from wheels are spun around, stands freely so there's no need to lean the stroller against the wall or car, which keeps it clean. There are 2 carrying handle for this stroller one on the top near the "pushing handles" and one on the side which is perfectly balanced "suitcase handle. I can carry this stroller easily with on hand.

Once my wife and I had this stroller for about a week, we couldn't believe we didn't buy it originally. I think we had sticker shock. I have recommended this stroller to everyone I know who is having a baby or re-buying there stroller.
