I have had my Pliko P3 for almost 3 years now. I purchased it for our first son and it is now being used for our second little guy. I have to say that it has proven to be wearing well-the plastic and cloth parts have not faded or worn at all and I use the stroller a lot. I have supplemented the Pliko P3 with the Aria Twin stroller when I take both boys out, but when going solo, the Pliko has been well worth it.

When shopping for strollers, cost is a huge factor. Peg Perego tends to be pricier, but consider the fact that you will be using a stroller for quite some time depending on your child. If possible, "window shop" first, then bring your child when trying out strollers. If you are a first timer, the info can be overwhelming, but make a list of priorities and stick to them. The baby salespeople can be helpful, but sometimes can try to sell you the moon. Also-there is no perfect stroller, just what is perfect for you.

See-my stroller that I love isn't perfect!
I like the lightweight factor so much. Strollers can be heavy to begin with and then you have to consider adding the baby/infant seat and diaper bag. You can be lugging a ton of stuff! Why lug around more than you need to? Also, this stroller seems to be a bit smaller than some others. This has not proven to be a problem even with my first son who was a big baby and now a big toddler. I can get it into and out of my car with ease. When with the baby, I just snap in his carseat, and off we go. Gotta love that!

My oldest loves the stroller and always has. He is totally comfortable and it has adapted to him as he has grown. We can buckle him in to the harness, give him a snack, and if he falls asleep, recline the back so he can rest. We can open the front so he can go in and out.

My biggest problem with the stroller is that it can be awkward to open and close. I can do it no problem, but if Grandma is watching the kids, it can be a challenge for someone who is not used to it.

Another point of contention is that being an umbrella stroller, the storage basket is smallish and difficult to get into. Considering the structure of the stroller I don't think that there is anything that can be done-it is inherent with the design. But believe me, this fact has not dampened any shopping so far!

As I have mentioned before, the stroller is wearing very well. I do clean it up occasionally with some dishsoap and water and it comes out looking new. The wheels have held up well and the cloth has not faded. We have also had favorable experiences when we did need to get the handle repaired after being damaged by an airline.

I love my Pliko!
