One hand fold! Baby loves it.

Great light weight stroller with easy fold. Baby loves it and so do we. We use it almost every day and found that it's a great investment.

Since we don't really live in a walking town, my husband and I put off buying a stroller for a while. We finally settled on the the Peg Perego Pliko P3, which has been one of the best purchases we've had since our baby was born.  We bought the Complete Newport version since the boot warmer and rainshield was helpful for where we lived.  We've had it for two months now and here are our thoughts:

The One-hand fold mechanism:
The folding mechanism is perhaps one of the main reasons we bought this stroller.  I can literally fold it up in less than 30 seconds and put it in the car.  It takes a bit getting used to for the unfold though. I have to pull the release handles and I use my foot to push the middle section of the toddler platform to have it unfold.  Again, this only takes me 30 seconds to do so.  I've seen my friend struggle with the Aria before and I'm glad ours came with this function.

Light-weight:
While this is not like an umbrella stroller, the Pliko P3 is light enough that I can handle it on my own.  Many sites give it different weights which was really irritating but I would trust Peg Perego's official site which says it weight 18.7 lbs.  It's not something I can carry while holding my baby but taking in and out of the car, or even up a few steps of stairs has been no problem.

Hood extension:
The hood extension is another great aspect of the Pliko P3.  It extends to about 170 degrees depending on the seat position which has been helpful during really sunny days and also if there's a slight drizzle.

Good for the money:
I bought this on the internet for less than $200 brand new and I think it's worth the price.  Just the struggle and hassles I've seen my friends with other strollers, I think the trade off for a few extra bucks was worth it.  I'm not one to be too extravagant on my spending but I think the investment was a good one.  We've been able to take our son into cafes and sit down for some hot cocoa while he sits happily in the stroller or sleeps in it.

Big sturdy wheels:
I've been able to use the stroller on gravel, grass, and even cobblestone.  It's been very sturdy but it's too early to tell how durable the wheels are.

Three Position recline:
The stroller comes with three recline positions.  It almost reclines fully but I'm not sure how well it works with a newborn infant.  Our son started to use it when he was a little less than two months old.  He was able to hold his head up by this point and we never use the upright position yet.

No Child Snack tray:
The one aspect I didnt' like about the Completo collection is that it doesn't come with a child snack tray.  While my baby is too young for solids, I can see this becoming a handy feature to have.  I ended up buying a snack tray on eBay for the Pliko P3 instead.

As mentioned earlier, this stroller has been able to give me the freedom of going out to cafes, the park, shopping and small day trips with my son.  I would say it's a great investment.  My son loves it and is always alert and happy when we push him around in it.  He also takes contented naps in it as well when we are out.
