2007 Honda PilotThe Pilot offers all of the traditional Honda traits — reliability, safety and quality —in a mid-size SUV package that seats up to 8 passengers. It is built on a unibody frame, derived from the Odyssey minivan, which means it delivers a car-like ride.

I LOVE this car even though I didn't want to give up my truck

Pros: Air controls for middle row, lots of space for seating/storage, lots of little compartments
Cons: Doors and lights don't auto-lock/auto-on or auto-unlock/auto-on when the car is turned off/on
The Bottom Line:
GET THIS... No wait - don't get it, I don't want to be on the road with everyone else driving MY car :)
I started looking at this truck when I was looking at the Toyota Highlander. I knew I needed something with more seating, but I didn't want to drive anything huge.
I happened across something that compared the Pilot to the Highlander and realized that the Pilot was a better vehicle - towing capacity, seating and spacing, size, gas mileage, etc.
I met a couple people who had Pilots and liked them. Then I drove a couple used versions (03 and 05)... I hated the 03 (probably just because of the condition the previous owner left it in) but I loved the '05.
Then I happen across an '07 that was a great deal so I went for it.
I LOVE the car - it fits everyone... My friends come with us places with their children, we use multiple car seats - it's very spacey. It rides great - we already took a 300 mile trip the first week we had it and everyone was happy.
I have the LX model - which is the lowest model - it was the only one they had left - so my CONS are only for THIS model and aren't in the other models...
