Pros: Family friendly, safe, safe, safe.
Cons: The volume control and cruise control on the steering wheel doesn't light up at night.
I've been waiting for a car like this! We've had an Excursion and an Explorer, they don't compare. (Well maybe the Excursion...) The Explorer was a lemon and after much fighting and service visits, we finally settled with Ford and got out of it. We moved over to the Pilot because my sister in law had one and loved it.
It is by far the most comfortable drive I have ever had. It is also very roomy. With two teenagers at home, fitting all of their friends in the car was important.
On top of all of that. I got in a wreck, another SUV ran a red light going over 50 mph and ran into the front end of my Pilot and NOTHING happened to me. Not even a sore back. The other car rolled and was totaled, the people in the car injured.
The autobody company put it back together and I am still loving my car. Even after a repair job. It doesn't get much better than that in my book.
