Mpeg Playing Machine!

Pros: Great playback of mpeg format movies with out restrictive encoding standards.
Cons: Menu is ugly, but is nice compared to most players.
I got this DVD player because I wanted to dump movies in mpeg format to CD without worrying about exact VCD and SVCD standards. This player played them back with out any issues. It's great! I have purchased several Philips DVD players and recommend them to friends. This one impressed me that much.
