This is a buy, because it is a high quality product that delivers crystal clear performance.
Why spend over $100, when you can get this great DVD player for around $89.99 at most retailers. This DVD player, is made by Philips, otherwise known as Magnavox. The quality of these products over the years is nothing short of extraordinary-I've never had any issues or problems with any of my Philips equipment. This DVD player is a buy, because the price is less than you would pay for other DVD players.
The size of this DVD player is perfect. It can fit anywhere from a small room to a large one.(Only 6 lbs and only 1.7" high.) It plays DVD's, CD Video's, Audio CD's, and CD/RW's. It is extremely easy to use, with a great instruction book included. It also comes with a easy to use universal remote control, and video and audio cables to make installation a snap.
The capabilities for a DVD player in this price range are impressive. This model comes with high end progressive scan, ability to decode mp3's, JPEG image CD playback,( for all you photo people!)front panel operation, resolution aspects of 625(PAL) and 525(NTSC), Aspect ratio control, multi-angle viewing, frame advance, multilingual support, picture zoom, screen savers, track programming, and slow motion. Even more expensive models cannot compare to this!
The Most important feature of all is the quality of Philips. As stated before, you will get many years out of these products. My Philips VCR is over 13 years and as good as new, as is my stereo receiver. My Philips TV is over 10 years, my speakers over 7, and my boombox over 5. In case you worry about mechanical issues, Philips offers a generous 1 year manufacturers warranty. Of course, major retailers have their own plans for additional money. I would not think it is necessary, as these Philips products rate much higher than other brands.
