Since my son gifted me with a DVD player at Christmas I'd been looking for a replacement (with the Christmas DVD, a 'Lasonic', the remote interfered with my Toshiba TV operation, and when plugged in I had interference with the picture from my satellite box which was sitting on top.... quite annoying plus lots of glitching and mediocre picture quality!).

After reading the two reviews on this product and finding it on sale I decided to give it a try. The two previous reviews are right on! The look and feel are business like and sturdy and there are enough output connections to satisfy any need. The instruction manual is well written, especially when compared to many of the foreign made electronics on the store shelves. Ease of connection and remote functions are superb and best of all, everything works like it should.

The picture and sound, even using the RCA connections, has the same digital quality as my satellite dish using the s-video input. Perhaps you can get better, but with an older TV I just can't imagine how. If you think I'm pleased, you're absolutely right!
