Pros: Compact, well designed, easy to use.
Cons: Red eye flash not working, images are not as good as I expected.
I selected this for my wife. I needed something easy to use and compact as possible with as high an optical zoom as possible and of course take great pictures. It was one of the few pocket digitals that can run on AA batteries, since I have a fleet of AA re-chargables. I have been playing with this for a day or two and I really like it. It is small but not so much that you can't handle it comfortably. The interface is intuitive and the features though not extensive are just what I will need with out compromising what I want. The videos look good too.
I am not sure about the image quality though, The colors are a little too bright and the flash seems to not be sensitive enough. The red eye flash setting seems to be totally ineffective. I am experimenting with lowering the color saturation...
