Small, light, and Fun Digital SLR
Pros: Very compact and light, approachable interface, great performance, incredibly capable.
Cons: No matching 18mm-70mm zoom.
Simple to use, does all the basics, does most of the advanced tricks, works well on full automatic, and uses all the Pentax lenses. Read More at Epinions.com

A great introduction into DSLR's.
Pros: Great DSLR at a great price. It shoots as well as the Nikon/Canon competiton.
Cons: Skimps alittle in specs and is not weatherproof.
I recommend this camera for most people because it takes great pix and 720p video and it is idiot proof for beginners like me. Read More at Epinions.com

Great little camera with issues
Pros: colors, lightweight, shake reduction, kit lens, AWB, shadow/highlight correction, video, remote flash control, AutoISO
Cons: mirror slap issue, AF point selection algorithm, no cheap 50/1.8, missing hdmi out, bad service.
Mirror slap issue making it unusable in many cases. Once you have mirror slap issue it can not be repaired and Pentax refuses to help you. Avoid.
