I took this little jewel to Hawaii as my only camera

Pros: Size, price, video quality, ease of use, cost of tapes
Cons: Low resolution on "stills"
I took this little jewel to Hawaii in 2002 (soon after purchasing it) as my only camera. It was easy to learn to use; and, I was able to stock up on tapes before I left. I used about a dozen tapes (you can imagine...Hawaii!!!). When I returned, I captured over 1,000 still images directly from the tapes to my PC and printed them out at a smaller-than-normal size. I am pleased with the resolution at that size; and, I used the minimum amount of paper, ink and albums to save the memories. Don't expect digital camera quality at larger sizes. I really like the concept of having ONE camera to capture audio, video and stills (it makes the stills even more memorable, since they come directly from the video tapes). I am hoping someone will perfect the DVD technology with the same features and a resolution comparable to digital cameras (3 mega-pixels or more). Then, I will be a "happy camper" (until something better comes along).
