Portable DVD players have lots of positives going for them. They're great for viewing DVD Video virtually anywhere and can also be used for listening to CDs. On long road trips, portable DVD players are the best things to help entertain the kids and subdue wild behaviors in cramped spaces. The drawback, until now, has been the limited Battery life during play back. The built-in rechargeable battery of the DVD-LS90 nearly triples it by offering a realistic 6 hours of play time. This opens lots more opportunities to enjoy the Panasonic DVD-LS90.

Pros: Swing out monitor screen, reliable playback of almost any format
Cons: No Component or S-video outputs; no carrying case.
I like this player a lot, and wanted to get a Panasonic since it seems that any DVD player by Panasonic can play any video or audio format just about. Other brands I've owned may advertise that, but Panasonic does it. I like everything about the DVD player, but a few things. I think for this price range, it should have at least an S-video output, or maybe even a component video output like some others I've seen. Also, wish it would've come with some kind of carrying case.
