Pros: 10X zoom is great coupled with the 4Meg resolution.
Cons: Instruction manual of 271 pages is difficult to read on PDF included with software.
The Bottom Line:
A little pricey, but if you can afford it, go for it!
Other reviews state no rechargeable batteries included but mine came with 4 NicMH Olympus brand rechargeable AND a recharger. My first charge lasted well over 250 pics and withstood my viewing them several times. Also spent a lot of time playing with settings before batteries ran low. Also included (purchased from Penn Photo) was the "optional" remote. Love the auto mode, several programs, manual settings and "My Favorites." Best feature as far as I am concerned is the macro and super macro, allowing less than one inch from subject. Large, high quality lens. Yes the 16 meg card that comes with it is small - most cards supplied with digital cameras are! I bought two 128 Meg cards right away. I would recommend a separate card reader for the new XD memory cards.
