C-750 for every day use

Pros: Great Zoom, easy to use, great picture quality.
Cons: Noise at ISO 400, plastic tripod socket, only 38mm wide angle.
The Bottom Line:
For travel and family photography, had to beat. Small and light but with great flexibility.
Fantasic camera! I waited through several product release delays, including the temptation to give in and buy another camera (Olympus C-740, Fuji S602), but the bottom line is I am very glad I waited. The first few pictures I took with the camera were very good, and I am sure as I learn the camera and digital photography techniques, the pictures will only get better. While I am not yet ready to replace my 35mm film Nikon system, this camera will likely be my choice for casual family and vacation travel pictures. The bulk and weight difference between the C-750 vs. the Nikon F-100 + 28-200mm lens + 200-400mm lens + flash gun is incredible and all I am giving up with the C-750 is the 28mm wide angle, some flash range, and big (11x14 cropped or larger) print resolution.
