My best yet espresso machine

I recommend this machine to anyone who can afford it. It has top quality components, ease of use , full featured and a good performer.

I was using a barista purchased from Starbucks prior to going all out and getting the Nuova simonelli. I like the large capacity water tank but you receive no warning if it's about out of water until the machine shuts down. It would be nice to actually see the level of water it has before brewing. The water tank is also hard to get out and if under a kitchen cabinet it's impossible. You can however fill it without removing it. The cup warmer on the top keeps the cups nice and warm and I also store the unused portafilter on top also. The machine exudes top quality in every aspect and in reading some reviews of other machines in this price range its better. The steam is more than adequate, it steams milk at blinding speeds. I leave the machine on all the time. I steam milk from the referigerator to 160 degrees in 35 seconds. thats enough milk for a 16 oz drink. You can steam and pour a shot at the same time. With the fast steaming capability I steam cold water then make a shot and pour the water on top of the coffee in my cup. It's fast and I have the control of making it as hot as I want. I would say the machine is moderately noise when brewing. The shots are every bit as good as the ones you pay $3.00 plus for at the stands. I anticipate the machine to last for many trouble free years. It doesn't have fancy chrome but the black plastic has a handsome look. If your planning to step up the Nuova Simonelli is great, you can spend more but why? Bob V.......
