1997 Maxima
I have a black 5-Speed manual GXE with almost 100k miles on it.
I leased this car for 3-years back in '97 and at the end of the lease I paid cash for it and kept it... I just wasn't ready to part with it yet.
That turned out to be a good decision, it's still fun to drive and will still roast most of the new cars on the road today.
The car wouldn't start sometimes, but I was able to compression start just fine. This happened about once every other month, so it didn't really worry me too much. Then one day while doing 60MPH on the freeway, the engine just died! I pulled over and it started right back up. The dealer had the car for 3 days before they figured out that both problems were caused by a faulty cam-shaft position sensor. Ever since then I've had zero problems.
After all these years, the seats are still firm and comfortable and nothing has come loose, broken or faded.
I still get about 25MPG (mostly highway) and about 350 Miles between fill-ups. I drive this car hard and the throttle is very responsive. Handling is fair for a sedan and I actually appreciate the softer ride.
If you're looking at getting one of these used, I highly recommend it... as for me, I'm keeping this as my son will be driving age in a couple more years and this would be a great first car for him.
Fast, fun and reliable car

Pros: Sports car speed - Comfortable ride - Great visibility & reliability
Cons: I wish it had heated outside mirrors - dated styling
The Bottom Line:
I have no regrets and still get a kick out of driving this car.
