Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board Computer Game
This game is the best of both worlds. You get to play video games and become healthier?...And! You can also learn yoga moves, building up to that lean body most of us want. This "video game" is no video game my friend. Usually they require us to fixate our eyes on a screen for hours but no, not this one! A game that finally gets our couch potatos off the couch and workin' it! This is Exactly what America needs.
I bought this Wii Fit for myself but it suddenly became a family deal, and I genuinely never saw any of my siblings getting away from the TV to take their time to excersise - but oh yes, they did. The wide assortment of games on the Wii Fit allowed all of us to have some friendly competition while we are each getting our excersise for the day. There's a timer so we each knew how much time we spent durign that day.
When I set up the game, you get to register yourself by picking a color for your Mii and go through some tests that tell you your fitness age (don't rely on that though) and you weigh yourself. If you want to lose, gain, or stay the same - then you give yoruself a certain amount of time you want to achieve it then voila! You can then make your own routine or use a convenient routine already on the game.
I chose to gain a pound of muscle because I didn't have much fat on me to begin with and now, after about 2 weeks, I can see a nice outlined 6 pack (which is Exactly what I wanted, not too muscley, no flab) and I feel energy flowing through me - I'd like to accredit that to the yoga portion!
My young siblings even love the game and they can't wait to beat eachother's scores they set. There's plenty of games-stepping, balancing games, brain/body games, yoga, strength training (Serious workout man!), there's plenty to choose from, though I wish there were more :) For the hoola-hooping game, I'd like to warn you that if you do it too often, strange muscles will develop (some guys have it) below your abs in a V shape...not attractive, so I stopped hoola hooping and focused on yoga so they went away! (Just a note) and I also loved the health tips they give you, very nice!
While doing yoga and strngth training, your trainer let's you know if you're doing well or need to adjust. Now I've perfected the movements so they never tell me "You seem a bit shaky" - the game really helps you stabilize and find a balance in yourself.
Get this game, DEFINETLY! Even if you don't want to lose weight (I didn't want to), it's still fun and allows you to keep a nice, healthy looking body and maintain your weight if that's what you choose! And it supplies SO much fun for the whole family!
