CLAYFIGHTER is a serious hand-to-hand combat game, but with hilariously wild antics. There's plenty of violence to be found, but you won't see any blood and guts since all the characters are made of clay! If things start to get a little stale, try to discover the hidden moves and combos that will put a whole new wrinkle in the action. Minimize

Nintendo NES

The one and only, and still the best!

Author's Rating: Rating: 5/5 stars

Pros: Fun for everyone, cheap games, brings back those days of long ago!

Cons: Sometimes you need to wrestle with the games to get them to play.

The Bottom Line:
Still the most fun game system out there. Classics like Mario, Contra, Zelda, Metroid, Donky Kong, and Excitebike come back to life!

Author's Review
You can be sure that the NES is still played almost every weekend by my friends and me. We all grew up on this wonderful machine, and have no intentions of letting it pass. While the performance of the NES is getting worse, just a blow on the cartridge and it usually starts up fine. There are hundreds of games for this system, but we all have our very favorites. A few things that really do make this the best:
- The games are very challenging. With most modern games you find them drawn out and simple. On the NES the games are to the point and sometimes nearly impossible, making the replay value great because you can always get further. Contra, for example, is the favorite at my house. Many night over Guinness and potato chips have revolved around beating this game, and we still cannot.
-The load time. There isn't any! Where can you find a game system that you can start playing within 5 seconds? Only on the cartridge based systems like the NES.
- Simplicity of games. Like the Wii is doing, people find fun in simplicity. Anyone can pick up Mario and have fun for a few minutes, making it fun to have around at a party.
- Price. You can get the games for this system (try Ebay) for a few dollars, not $50+ like new games.

So the NES is still my favorite system, and sure I have a few others that I like but I will always come back to the NES. If properly maintained this rig will last forever!
