There are those days when the television programming gets on our nerves. It is either an insult to our mentality, or the violence is enough to give you 'daymares' and nightmares. Last night I was given a video of the old movie with Greta Garbo "Ninotchka" -- what a joy! At first I looked at the casette with doubt, because I was convinced that such an old movie is so badly dated, that it is impossible to identify with it. Wrong! In these difficult times, they should revive the movie for all to see. I laughed so hard that my poor little cat got scared, and ran for cover. What an actress! She was around before our time, but she will never really die, when she can still give us so much fun. It has nothing to do with changes in our tastes or the times. It is pure fun! I woke up with a smile this morning, thinking of the fun I had last night, while watching an old movie, with the storm and cold raging outdoors.
This only proves that all the violence being fed to the public today, is poisonous. Greta Garbo was someone from the distance past, but alas, she returns again and again to give joy to present and future generations, if they would only let her.
See it, it's great fun!
