Good camera for a novice photographer

Author's Rating: Rating: 4/5 stars

Pros: Small & lightweight; great scene options for pictures; video camera option is useful; rechargeable battery!

Cons: Doesn't have a small viewfinder, only LCD screen.

Bottom Line:
Great camera for taking casual photos & printing them for photo albums, framing around the house, etc.  It's sleek, has a plethora of picture-taking options & is a good price. Read More at Epinions.com

Not Bad, But There's Probably Better Out There

Author's Rating: Rating: 3/5 stars

Pros: It's sleek, light weight and attractive.

Cons: It offers SO many options = difficult to manuever.

Bottom Line:

Good camera for someone who'll read the manual and learn all the features - definitely not foolproof.  Not recommended for total novices.
