Awesome! Til the battery dies....

Pros: Picture quality, ease of use, easy to change settings on the fly.
Cons: Battery life, changing out lenses.
As a professional graphic artist I needed a nice digital for design work. I stumbled across the Nikon 5700 almost by accident. While looking at a Canon G5 (one of the competitors of the 5700) I noticed another camera in my price range. It had a chunky little compact body and had a nice weight in my hands; it felt good. After research I bought the 5700. From what I saw it was more versitile than the G5 and had better quality. One thing that kills me though, the batteries last no time at all. While shooting for clients I usually have to change batteries a few times hour and a half to two hour shoots). So buy extra batteries with this camera! They aren't too expensive and are well worth it.
Also, it's sort of a pain to put different lenses on this camera, but I've heard that about the G5 too.
